Data visualization via Google Data Studio

Creating reports is relatively easy thanks to the user-friendly interface. According to a drag & drop principle, the most obvious visualizations such as timeseries, barcharts, areagraphs, tables and scorecards are available. The interface consists of two parts: Data and Style. In the Data tab, we set up all links, dimensions, metrics and any further data. In particular, the Style tab has settings for the layout of the visualizations.

Here, it is also possible to show multiple variables with different chart types in one graph by adding a secondary axis. This allows us to show multiple variables such as — revenues, costs and transactions — within one graph. Layout variables such as colors, lines and fonts are also easy to apply and can be fully formatted in your own corporate identity, and there are many options to beautify your graphs, scorecards or tables and highlight important results even better.

Connectors for the main Google platforms are currently available. This includes Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Google Attribution 360, Google Analytics, Google Sheets, Search Console, YouTube and BigQuery. In addition, Data Studio provides community connectors that allow platforms to build and develop their own connector.
